Syracuse City football team’s triumphant day ends with semifinals loss to top-seeded squad (photos, video)

Syracuse, N.Y. — The Institute of Technology at Syracuse Central football team had a whirlwind week.
It began on Monday when the team was informed it was disqualified from the playoffs for the use of an illegible player in last week’s sectional quarterfinal and it ended with a hard-fought 29-0 loss to top-seeded New Hartford in the Section III Class B semifinals.
