James Purdey & Sons London Green Herringbone Shooting Vest Large Fine Condition. This mens shooting vest would make a great gift idea for that special man in your life and is in very fine pre owned condition. Vest fits a mens 42 Chest (Large) beautiful green Herringbone vest features large leather shooting patches on both shoulders, shooting pad that can be used on both left and right side and absorbs recoil, large bellow pockets for cartridges, all horn buttons marked PURDEY, button back belt can be adjusted. Vest tag reads 40 but each sides of the vest have been professionally let out a bit for ease of movement, comfort and layering (brown material shown in several photos) bringing it to a size Large. Small crease on left side of vest near pocket area just needs to be steamed.
Measures approximately 21" across (armpit to armpit) x 30" long from top of shoulder to bottom of vest. This belonged to my cousin who is 5'7" and weighs between 170-175.
